ZOOM is a new and unique small angle diffraction neutron instrument built on TS-2 at the ISIS facility at RAL. Depending on the experiment being run, a 4 meter section of beam will need to be encompassed by polarizers, glass guides or collimation masks (PGC). In order to do this, a vacuum tank has been required to house these units, with an internal motion system to transport the required unit onto the beam path.
Ultimate vacuum pressure required: 1E-01mbar
Ultimate vacuum pressure achieved: 2,6E-06 mbar
